This Friday is the last day of the summer that the Biophilia Center will be open to the public! On July 26th, explore the Center from 9 AM to 2 PM, and join us at 11:30 AM for a special presentation that you won’t want to miss!
Presentation details:
Discover the unique forest types in Walton County and the surrounding Panhandle, a biodiversity hotspot. Extension Forester Ian Stone, from UF IFAS Extension, will explain the differences in dominant tree species, soil conditions, and understory plants. The talk will be followed by a guided hike down the Biophilia Center’s Hammock Trail!
