Families are invited to the FREE 3rd Annual Community Back to School Bash on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Rodney J. Evans Community Center (RJECC) in Florala, Alabama.
The free community event brings together local churches, businesses, organizations, and volunteers to help students prepare for the upcoming school year. More than 35 community partners are expected to participate, providing school supplies, resources, and opportunities for families to connect before classes begin.
While school supplies are a highlight of the afternoon, organizers say the event is ultimately about bringing the community together to encourage and support local students and their families.
The Community Back to School Bash will be held inside the Rodney J. Evans Community Center at Lake Jackson.
