Sunbright Inn is nearing completion

By Wendy O. Dixon

Located at 30 Live Oak Avenue West and directly on Hwy 331 in historic DeFuniak Springs, Sunbright Inn is a labor of love for Patrick O’Neill and his family, who have completely renovated the oldest house in Walton County.

New pavers welcome guests to the steps of this lovely Sunny Veranda Victorian home turned inn. Bask in the Victorian era in the stately parlor room as you sit on restored antique furniture and walk atop the hickory hardwood flooring, The inn has eight bedrooms, each with a fireplace, en-suite bathroom, and unique historical themes. Guests enjoy daily deliveries of fresh organic coffee, tea and specialty baked goods from Perla Baking Co.

Sunbright Inn will soon begin taking reservations. You can follow their progress on their Facebook Page.
