    ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE

    Ari Hest has crafted a unique path in music - independently building a loyal following through relentless college touring, then on to major label albums, and then reimagining listener engagement through fan-driven projects like “52” and his Patreon-powered “The Treehouse Project”. A grammy nominated singer/songwriter(best folk album, 2017) who began his career two decades ago, he’s performed both in the U.S. and abroad with artists like The Indigo Girls, Martin Sexton, Judy Collins and Suzanne Vega.

    Many of Ari's songs have appeared on TV and film - The Path, The Lincoln Lawyer, Private Practice, Army Wives, and One Tree Hill to name a few.  Ari’s newest endeavor, The Treehouse Project, has him writing, recording and releasing a song on his Patreon every two weeks since early 2022. Based on the votes of his subscribers, he remixes the 10 favorite songs from each year and releases an album. The project is currently in its fourth year and is approaching 100 original songs.

    Emerald Coast Theatre Company will host its inaugural Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 29 at 12 p.m. at Burnt Pine Golf Club in Sandestin. Benefiting ECTC Youth Education Programs, the event will bring together community leaders, local businesses, golf enthusiasts, and supporters of theatre arts for an afternoon of golf, food, drinks, entertainment, prizes, and philanthropy.

    Known as one of the premier golf destinations along the Emerald Coast, Burnt Pine Golf Club offers scenic views overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay and a championship-level course experience. Tournament participants will enjoy lunch before the shotgun start, along with post-tournament food and entertainment following play. Complimentary beverages from Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Birdie Cocktails, and Odd Pelican Beer Company will be available throughout the day.

    The tournament will also feature contests, giveaways, on-course prizes, and a Hole-In-One Contest with the chance to win a Rolex watch provided by McCaskill & Company. Each player will receive one complimentary mulligan.

    Proceeds from the event will directly support ECTC Youth Education Programs, helping fund camps, classes, scholarships, teaching artists, and arts education opportunities for students across the Emerald Coast. Funds raised will also help expand accessibility to arts education through reduced tuition costs and school field trip opportunities.
