Roughly 70 works of art are projected onto the canvases of exterior walls and architectural features, pathways, and landscape in a show that combines juried pieces submitted by artists from around the world, as well as those of Residency Artists, emerging artists and creative partners. This casual, informative, pre-sunset walk will explore Alys Beach's white stuccoed exteriors with geometric angles and detailing as the ideal living canvas for projection mapping and digital art projections. Glean insights into the creative and technical process behind the placement of each piece and gain a deeper understanding of how the architecture and urban landscape inspires audience engagement.     Digital Graffiti launches the 19th annual festival at Alys Beach with a celebratory awards pre-party announcing the winning artists for the 2026 show, held on the Gulf Green. Tickets required for attendance.

    Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach opens on May 15 from 8-11pm with an adult-only (21+), all-inclusive food and beverage experience.     LakeFest returns to Chipley Park for a full weekend of family-friendly fun on the shores of Lake DeFuniak, one of the world’s rare, naturally round spring-fed lakes. Set for May 15–16, 2026, this annual celebration highlights safe, recreational water activities alongside a packed lineup of entertainment, food, and community traditions.

    Festivities begin Friday with the V.F.W. Post 4437 Fish Fry, live music, and an illuminated hydroflight performance on the lake. Saturday brings a full day of activities, including opening ceremonies, hydroflight and wakeboard showcases, the popular cardboard boat and inflatable duck races, and the crowd-favorite Lucky Duck Hunt. Families can explore the Kids Zone, enjoy waterslides and interactive attractions, and browse a wide selection of food, merchandise, and educational vendors.

    Additional highlights include the LakeFest Car Show “Under the Oaks,” a tractor show, farmers market, live performances throughout the day, and a community parade circling the lake. Primitive camping is available for registered participants, and personal paddlecraft are welcome, with rentals offered on-site.

    Cami’s Day is a community fundraiser taking place in Downtown DeFuniak Springs at the Amphitheater on Circle Drive. The event is being held to help raise funds in support of Cami Morgan, standing with her in faith as she fights stage 4 cancer. The evening will feature food trucks, live music, a silent auction, and additional activities, creating a gathering centered on support, community, and hope.

    Live music will include Luke Langford, with additional performers to be announced as the lineup is finalized. The headliner of the event will be Rockland Road Band. Rockland Road is a family band featuring Grammy-winning artist Paul Martin (lead singer of EXILE), Jamie Allen (daughter of Duane Allen of The Oak Ridge Boys), their children, and Grand Ole Opry background vocalist Norah Lee Allen. Their sound blends country, gospel, pop, R&B, and Americana.
