The 100-acre Alaqua Animal Refuge in Freeport is a second-chance haven for more than 500 animals at any given time. The staff and volunteers work tirelessly to care for the animals and to find them permanent homes.
You can find the love of your life today at Alaqua by visiting the refuge. The cats and kittens spend their days roaming in loft apartments. Dogs and puppies enjoy private enclosures complete with outdoor runs for exercise and sunshine. But there’s no substitute for a home.
The operational costs at Alaqua are upwards of $250,000 per month, so donations are greatly appreciated.
These animals have only love to give and are waiting for your giving heart to share that love.
