Habitat for Humanity of Walton County invites the community to its 8th Annual Hard Hats & High Heels Luncheon, an uplifting afternoon that celebrates the power of women coming together to build strength, stability, and opportunity through affordable housing. This year’s luncheon holds special meaning as it honors the legacy of Barbara Carver, a devoted Habitat volunteer whose passion for service left a lasting mark on Walton County. Sponsored by the Carver Family in her loving memory, the event ensures Barb’s spirit continues to inspire and empower women through Habitat’s Women Build program.
Guests will enjoy a plated lunch, signature drink, games, raffles, wine pull, awards presentation, and an inspiring keynote address from Catherine Brennan of Whole Life Fitness, known for helping women build both physical and mental resilience.
The luncheon also kicks off Habitat’s 2026 Women Build Workshops, where women gain hands-on construction skills—including power tool training—while directly supporting local families working toward affordable homeownership. Spring 2026 workshop and build dates will be announced at the event.
