Join us for an intimate evening at @sowalhouse for the screening of Gulf of Dreams, a documentary by local filmmaker and Q2 SOFO Grant recipient Jonah Allen. This beautifully shot and heartfelt film follows Jonah and his closest friends as they seek out world-class surf in the most unexpected place—the Gulf of Mexico.
Gulf of Dreams is more than a surf story; it’s a moving exploration of passion, resilience, and the power of dreaming big in unlikely places. Through immersive visuals and a deep connection to the Gulf’s delicate ecosystem, Jonah captures what it means to chase something meaningful—even when the odds are against you.
