Celebrate 90 years of wildlife conservation at Alaqua Animal Refuge during The Wild Within, a free community celebration honoring the Florida Wildlife Federation’s legacy of protecting Florida’s natural spaces and wildlife.
From noon to 3 p.m. on June 7, guests can explore conservation exhibits and local vendors, hear educational storytelling from special guests, enjoy live music, and connect with organizations working to protect Florida’s ecosystems.
More than a birthday celebration, The Wild Within invites visitors to discover the connection between the animals we care for every day and the wildlife that makes Florida unique. Through hands-on experiences and conservation-focused programming, attendees will leave with a deeper appreciation for the role they play in protecting the wild places around them.
